Cracked screens and cracked backs

Google-locked phones (Factory Reset Protection)
It happens more than you'd think. The phone got reset, and now it asks for the Google account that was on it, and that email or password is long gone. Sellers wipe the phone before the meetup. On Android, the order matters: remove your accounts first, then reset from Settings. Resetting from the recovery menu with a Google account still on the phone is what turns on Factory Reset Protection. Not sure how? Text us and we'll walk you through it at the meetup.
- Back up what you can.
- Galaxy: Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts → tap your Samsung account → Remove account. Do the same for your Google account. Then Settings → General management → Reset → Factory data reset.
- Pixel: Settings → Passwords & accounts → tap your Google account → Remove account. Then Settings → System → Reset options → Erase all data (factory reset).
- Already locked and can't sign in? Don't force it. Text us the model, tell us it's locked, and we'll give you a number for it as is.
- Charge it as much as it will take, so we can test it quickly.
- Take out your SIM card, if your phone has one.
- Be upfront about every crack and any locks. That's what keeps the offer the same at the meetup.
